Angus, Josie, Tim and Earl have created this page because we want to help make a difference. We're inspired by the beautiful people in our lives who have been affected by breast cancer, and the wonderful work the National Breast Cancer Foundation do, therefore we wanted to support them by raising money as part of our participation in The 2017 Sun-Herald City2Surf. Please help by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the greater their impact, so please spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it's appreciated by more people than you know!
In 1994, when NBCF was founded, nearly a quarter of all women diagnosed with breast cancer passed away from the disease within five years of diagnosis. Over the past 20 years this figure has roughly halved, so many more women are surviving every year.
As NBCF receives no government funding, all funds are donated by the community through fundraising initiatives and donations just like this one!
If Josie and Angus running 14km isn't worth a few dollars, I don't know what is.
Lastly tell every woman in your life to go and get checked by a GP!
