My Story

This year I will be taking part in my first city to surf and I could not think of a better reason to join. I will be walking along side my incredible friends Stacey and Tahmon for Team Arden as we support the amazing
team at the Westmead Children's Hospital and Bear Cottage. Stacey and Tahmon have created the most handsome, cheeky, determined and strong little boy who is a real favourite with the incredible team at the Westmead Children's Hospital. Little Arden has undergone many surgeries to fight his heart condition and is yet to go home. The team at the hospital have not only supported Arden but his Mummy and Daddy too. We often find them dancing and singing around the ward to help keep the spirits high through this tough time... and to show Arden just how cool and amazing his parents are. The hospital team truely are Angels.
So I would really appreciate your support in donating big or small so I can give a litttle bit back to the wonderful team at the Westmead Children's hospital and Bear Cottage and show my appreciation for the incredible support and life they have shown my special friends and continue to show to other families. THANKS LEGENDS. Xx

Our little man Arden Wolfe Zenzmaier has spent the duration of his life (almost 5 months) in the PICU at Westmead Children's Hospital.
Born with Severe Aortic Stenosis he has endured 9 surgeries, 5 days on ECMO (life support), 6+ weeks intubated, 9+ procedures, 17+ invasive blood tests, 15+ Echocardiograms, 40+ XRays, a number of scans and blood transfusions, 10+ ECG's, going on 9 weeks of heavy antibiotics.. and the list goes on.

We are incredibly grateful for everything the PICU team has done to keep our little fighter alive and with your support would love to give something back. Donations go towards specialised training, education and research for the team of dedicated professionals. Their goal this year is to raise $60k. You will be paying tribute to the courage and spirit of the critically-ill children they care for each year which includes our brave little man Arden.
