In September 2014 something unthinkable happened, one of my best friends Katrina Willard died suddenly from a cardiac arrest due to inherited cardiomyopathy. She died 4 weeks before her 26th birthday.
This loss completely shattered the world of so many people, her family, her friends and myself.
I wanted to bring something positive out of this experience so in 2016 I participated in my first City2Surf to raise over $2500 for The Heart Foundation in Katrina's memory. This year I will be running in the City2Surf again with the aim of fundraising $3000 for The Heart Foundation.
I was blown away by the generosity of everyone who donated last year and supported this cause, so please dig deep and donate to my fundraising again this year.
