I’m taking part in the city2surf race this year – and aiming to run the full course! (from someone who previously just about coughed up an entire lung trying to run 1km, this is HUGE). I’m hoping all my fears and training efforts can be paid off by raising some money and awareness for the Oasis Youth Network.
Oasis Youth Support Network is The Salvation Army’s response to youth homelessness in Sydney’s inner city.
Oasis provides access to more than 20 programs and services that offer critical points of intervention and support for homeless and disadvantaged young people between 16 and 25 years of age. This support extends from crisis and transitional accommodation, right through to case management, education and training; living skills, vocational programs, counselling and outreach services.
Oasis Youth Support Network provides a place of safety and care where, through skilled and compassionate intervention, young people can find hope, healing and freedom to realise their dreams and potential.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about The Oasis Youth Network, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
