Hayley's page has now expired

91 days ago, Hayley created this page in support of The Children's Hospital at Westmead and Bear Cottage.

With the help of Team Arden, Hayley gave everything:

  • Shared their page with everyone they could.

  • Received 20 donations from generous family and friends.

  • Raised $2,660.60.

My Story

These two incredible parents have had a roller coaster of a ride into parenthood. Stace and Tah are so incredibly strong to have gone through what they have gone through as first time parents with their amazing little fighter Arden.

Arden was born with Severe Aortic Stenosis and has undergone countless procedures in his 12 weeks of life. He is a little fighter and is receiving great care from the PICU Team at Westmead Children's hospital.

Completing the City 2 Surf and raising funds for the PICU Team at Westmead Children's Hospital is the least we can do to support this beautiful family and all staff in the PICU unit working tirelessly providing around the clock care.

Our little man Arden Wolfe Zenzmaier has spent the duration of his life (almost 5 months) in the PICU at Westmead Children's Hospital.
Born with Severe Aortic Stenosis he has endured 9 surgeries, 5 days on ECMO (life support), 6+ weeks intubated, 9+ procedures, 17+ invasive blood tests, 15+ Echocardiograms, 40+ XRays, a number of scans and blood transfusions, 10+ ECG's, going on 9 weeks of heavy antibiotics.. and the list goes on.

We are incredibly grateful for everything the PICU team has done to keep our little fighter alive and with your support would love to give something back. Donations go towards specialised training, education and research for the team of dedicated professionals. Their goal this year is to raise $60k. You will be paying tribute to the courage and spirit of the critically-ill children they care for each year which includes our brave little man Arden.

To help the PICU we are taking part in the City to Surf 2017 and running/walking for our son Arden. So if you would like to help and either run/walk or donate toward ‘Team Arden’ below are some details of how you can do that.
