In 2012 I was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer underwent a bilateral mastectomy with 18 months of treatment. THEN in February 2014 was diagnosed with Malignant Sarcoma in my left thigh , I had surgery then 6 weeks radiation treatment.
I am a daughter, sister, aunt, dragon boater, cat lover, and laugh-out-loud chocoholic and I love a good cup of tea or chilled wine. I run for charity and I volunteer on the Relay for Life, Cancer Council Committee in Dubbo.
I passionately support ALL Cancer awareness, early detection, support and research.
This is my fifth year I’ve travelled to Sydney to participate in this this wonderful event. Each year I choose a different Charity.
It is amazing knowing money raised for CANCER COUNCIL makes such a difference in support and research.
I remember with great love several friends lost to Breast Cancer and loved ones to other CANCERs and I’ll walk in tribute to them.
I'm inspired by the work of Cancer Council NSW and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in The 2017 Sun-Herald City2Surf
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Cancer Council NSW, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
